  • Patient education materials

  • Consent form (Suggested resource located under "Practice Tools")
  • Silver Diamine Fluoride
  • Fluoride varnish
  • Timer
  • Vaseline
  • Cotton swab (or gauze)
  • Glasses/sunglasses for the patient
  • Microbrush (small brush used to apply SDF)
  • Gloves
  • Tray cover
  • Bib for patient

  • Dental Mirror
  • Cotton Swabs
  • Dental floss
  • Dappen dish (yellow dish in picture above)
  • Toys (for young children)

Tips for setup:

  • Gather and store all supplies and materials in a portable container to improve efficiency of clinical workflow and treatment in the exam room.
  • Set up “SDF kits” with the materials needed for each patient to further improve efficiency.
