Description
This course focuses on caries prevention. It
offers a brief review of Early Childhood Caries (ECC) and address how the
use of fluoride is part of a comprehensive approach to a child's oral
health. Specifically, clinicians will learn the benefits, appropriate
safety precautions, and dosing for fluoride, as well as how to apply
fluoride varnish and provide follow-up care.
Caries

30 minute video, covering the same material as the online course. If you

click here. To print a certificate of completion for continuing
education credit after watching the video, you must register for the
course, complete all the post-test questions, a brief evaluation, and then
press Submit to view the "Thank You" page where you have the option to print or save a
certificate of completion. You can register for the course by clicking "Launch Course"
button to the right, then Next to access the Registration page.
After registering, click the Summary and Assessment tab on the
left navigation bar, then click Take Home Messages and Next to access the 10
question post-assessment.
This course takes approximately one hour to complete. Each Clinical
Case takes about 10 minutes.
